The climate crisis is a real issue that impacts the entire world. Here at Umut Doğa we care about our world and want to keep it clean.
We have taken some important steps to be as socially conscious as possible.
The first step Umut Doğa took in its sustainability journey was to ask “how can we source paper in a nature friendly way?” Paper is our most used material, so we thought starting here would be efficient.
This question lead to Umut Doğa officially become FSC certified in 2012.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests.
Our second step was to minimize our waste by switching to plant based inks and organic chemicals.
The third step was to design and implement an environmental management system, and get it ISO 14001 certified.
Our main objective is to leave the next generation a cleaner world by implementing environmentally friendly and efficient policies.
